Description
The 2015 Royals brought home a World Series title for the first time in 30 years. Commemorate this historic season and show your fire service pride with this t-shirt. The three colors (Royal blue, Powder blue, or Charcoal) each feature a large “shadowed” maltese cross, inlaid with baseball images and a Royals-themed scramble.
The Royals’ 2015 World Series roster is featured below the cross, with various positions featured as personnel assignments in the fire service: Starting Pitchers as Engineers, Infielders as Pipemen, Outfielders as Truckies, the Bullpen as a RIT, and the Coaches/Manager as the Chiefs/command staff.
In addition to the Royals’ historic season, this shirt commemorates the loss of KCFD firefighters John Mesh and Larry Leggio, who were lost during a building fire just 2 weeks before the World Series began. All proceeds from the sales of this shirt will benefit the IAFF Local #42 Community Assistance Fund, which will directly benefit the families of John and Larry.
